Amazing Halibut fishing !

Halibut fishing continues to be amazing with Halibut coming in at 35 and 70 pounds regularly!

We are getting exciting fishing action at Race Rocks, Constance bank, and areas off Albert Head.

We had a great group out from Ontario and Edmonton. Everyone had a great day, and we took turns reeling in Halibut.

Our crab traps were chalk-a-block full. We had 12 Dungeness crabs. We kept enough to eat and released the rest for another day.

All in all the weather was a bit choppy in the morning, but it calmed right down and went nearly mirror flat. The sun even came out and the seals were sunning themselves on the rocks as we headed back to the marina with our catch.

Winter chinook fishing is on!

Winter Chinook Fishing was tremendous in February, with lots of larger fish to twenty pounds caught from Whirl Bay.

We caught several halibut today with a great young group from Victoria. It was just 30 minutes into the trip when the first one struck. Have a look at this picture !
